A LITTLE HISTORY:
MOTO RACE TIRES engineers have been in the tire business for decades, so when they wanted to build the most advanced high performance tire ever for the UTV market place, we were more than excited to develop with them.
We have seen the tire market evolve from ATV’s to when the first UTV’s came out in 2004. The normal big name tire company’s (old generation of tires) were really designed for lighter weight ATV’s. OEM Manufacturers still sell their new models with these tires for basically two reasons.
ONE: They are light weight and STEAL power from the UTV. Rotational mass of tires and wheels steal HUGE horse power from these machines. AND OVER WORKS THE CLUTCHING
TWO: Cost effectiveness, they get them at a good price and when you wear them out you have to buy new ones.

Most of the time when you have the stock tires on your 800, 900 and 1000 cc machines in extreme riding or racing , you end up puncturing or ripping the sidewall so many times, you can’t plug it any longer. Usually much before the tread wears out.
And, if you go to the newer designed 8 ply nylon tires to avoid this problem, you pay the price with heavy POWER STEALING, shock killing tires and heavy un-sprung wheel weight.
Technology: Develop and Engineer a tire for every major purpose and optimize its performance within that focus.
KEVLAR belts in the tire, very light weight and super strong, same stuff bullet proof vests use, it stops punctures and tears and super light weight and strong.
Dual Durometer tread rubber, two densities (softness) of tread compounds. Right down the center of the tread pattern is a little harder denser rubber, to provide wear resistance and center rib stability on hard pack surfaces and high speed. From the center tread outward to the side of the tread is softer less dense tread form optimizing traction and side bite traction in corners.
Over 300 percent more puncture resistant than the best nylon tires from any other UTV tire on the planet, and much less weight per tire. Add up the weight of 4 tires, at 6 to 10 lbs per tire more weight than the Kevlar belted tires. Not just normal weight but drive train wheel weight, could be as much as 40 extra lbs of rotational mass your machine has to stop with the brakes and start (accelerate) on the engine and drive train. Not to mention, un-sprung wheel weight and what that does to handling performance and shock fade or bearing wear.
Huge sidewall biters that curve from the tread way down on the sidewall providing additional protection and deep cornering traction but additional flotation in softer materials.
